What is the NAPHRO Secretariat?
In October 2013 NAPHRO established its Secretariat with a mandate to facilitate and coordinate activities and collaborative initiatives of the alliance, to develop and foster relationships, and to gather business intelligence.
Our Executive Director, Ms. Renata Osika is leaving NAPHRO, and as of January 2021 taking a new position with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). Renata joined NAPHRO as inaugural Executive Director, and for the last 6 years she has guided the organization, and brought us to work with the many partner organizations across the broad health research milieu.
“Clearly, with her leadership, loyalty and perseverance NAPHRO has a recognized presence. While your valued contribution to NAPHRO will be greatly missed, on behalf of NAPHRO, we congratulate you on your new role with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).” said NAPHRO Co-chairs, Tim Murphy, VP, Health at Alberta Innovates and Patrick Odnokon, CEO, Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation.
“I am taking with me a deep understanding of Canada’s regional research and innovation ecosystems. I am grateful for the opportunity to be the face of NAPHRO for six years, at the same time, during the critical time for public health in Canada, I am eager to use this knowledge and relationships to support my new position at PHAC.” Ms. Renata Osika, inaugural Executive Director, NAPHRO.
We know you will all join us in wishing Renata great success in her new role.
